For every beast of the _______ is Mine, and the _______ upon a _________ hills. I know all the _______ of the ________: and the ________ beasts of the _______ are Mine. 4. What portion of our means does God claim as His? Leviticus 27:30: Fill in the blanks: And all the tithe of the _______, whether of _________ of the land, or of the _________ of the tree is the Lord's: It is holy unto the Lord.

A tithe or tenth is a reminder of God's ownership and man's stewardship. We are all stewards. Whether we are Christians or not, we are all stewards, and one day we will have to give an account of our stewardship. Stewardship has to do with our time, talents, treasures, and body temple.

9. What promise to God's people of old may be claimed equally by believers of today? Malachi 3:10: Fill in the blanks: Bring ye all the tithes into the __________, that there may be ________ in Mine _________, and prove me now herewith saith the Lord of host, If I will not _________ to you the windows of heaven, and ________ you out a blessing that there shall not be room ________ to receive it.

What is a tithe? A tithe is one tenth of our means. Whether it be money, cattle or any other thing.

How is the tithe calculated? If the Lord bless you with 10 cents you divide 10 cents by ten and you get 1 cent. So 1 cent is tithe.

The formula is - what you have - divided by ten = tithes. If you have one dollar ($1.00), 10 cannot go into 1 dollar so you convert one dollar into cents and divide by ten. One dollar equals one hundred cents divide that by ten and you will get 10, 10 cents is tithe.

You do the same thing for $2.00, $3.00, up to $9.00. When you reach $10.00 that can be divided by ten. Ten into ten = 1. $1.00 is tithes
Any amount you have divide it by ten and you will know what the tithe is.

What about offering? The Lord said we have robbed Him in tithes and offerings. Offering is what we give to God of our own free will. When we give the tithe, we are not giving God anything. That belongs to Him. We are only giving Him what is His. Our offering is what we give Him of what He permits us to keep for ourselves.

When you remember all the blessings the Lord had bestowed upon you, then out of the sweetness of your heart you give Him an offering. The amount of offering in comparison to His blessings to you equals your gratitude to Him.

Thousands of earnest Christian believers over the world have embraced God's plan for the support and extension of His word by tithe and offering. The tithes or tenth is returned to God. The offering you give of your own free will. We are God's stewards, entrusted by Him with time, talents, opportunities, possessions, and the blessings of the earth and its resources. We are responsible to Him for their proper use. We acknowledge God's ownership by faithful service to Him and our fellowmen, and by returning tithe and offering for the proclamation of the gospel and the support and growth of His church. It is also good to gave God and offering of your time, talents, and influence. That means using those gifts to the honor and glory of God.

Let us by God's grace show our appreciation to Him by doing the things that pleases Him.
